My Daimyo has not sons and he is about to die.

My Daimyo has not sons and if he died the game will end. How can I get my Daimyo producing more sons?

I believe I read other posts of this nature and many replied with "it's random" or "predetermined for each leader".

But, recently I finished a game and I didn't use my leader's army past the opening moves. I couldn't keep track of all the freaking kids he had. It might also be a question of his proximity to his home province.

you can't. search for some threads hereabouts with info on how/when heirs are produced and best ways to insure their surivival.

It is supposed to follow the true order of history. If you have no heirs and you're about to die you should have won sooner
