Hot dang! I didn't know I needed to dispense Prozac to my waiters in this town...

And my butler didn't seem depressed, nor did my chamber maids. That reminds me: gotta check to see if the chauffer didn't suffocate in the garage... now that I think about it, I *did* hear the car running for a while...

Fortunately, my booze-dispensers seem to be quite content... after all, I let them sneak a sip or two of sake once a year...

Well when a server is down for 5 days without explanation, people tend to gravitate to other projects.

For example, I went out and bought 3 new games that many of my online friends have recommended in the past but I had previuosly refused to buy because Shogun was my one and only love.

Now that Ive been playing those games, Ive checked into WE 3 times at what should be peak times, only to see less than 20 people there each time. Then I play a game or two and leave because no one is around

So thanks, EA. I MEAN THANKS A LOT. I mean Thanks a whole FRIGGIN lot for running a bunch of people off (not me, mind you, but many will never be back nonetheless)

And this, folks, is why Pay-To-Play servers are unfortunately the wave of the future because at least with that concept there is more quality and someone to answer to (the customers who pay month-to-month)

And while im complaining, will someone explain why this game doesnt have multiplayer IP options? I mean, for Gods sake, this is the first game ive ever owned where i couldnt play with my m8s if the server was down. Please explain.

Well, like elmo said, no more EA products for me!

Im playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein while MI server was down. Its only a MP demo/test version, the full version wont be release untill next month, and there are already 400+ servers(free) and over 2000 players(at any time) online. I believe EA never intended to make shogun a popular online game, the server cant even handle more than a hundred players.

I cant get in anyway, so I'm just annoyed at the long registration process that culminates in "Failed to log in". As a result of the server problems, login problems and general depression re multiplayer, I am sticking to single.

the registration process in uneccasarily long and confusing, and pressing the wrong option can mean having to start all over again,

and why oh why can't we play without the server?
i mean we can play a lan, so why do we have to be restricted to one online server?

why can't we use our own PC as a server?
