Irish Mod

To all:

I have completed v 1.1 of my Irish mod
changes to game are:
-Irish faction now avaible
-New units( Irish infantry,Irish spearmen ect.)
-New flags

this is only a beta version of my mod.I'm wating
for VI to come out so i can add new stuff. also
vi may have irish units i can encorperate with this mod.

---will anyone host this mod on their web site.that
would make it easier for dl.

If anyone has sugestions about new units please
let me know. i am currently adding a new type of archer
for the irish and soon the scots faction will be avaible.

--also in 1.1 i changed england to Cath exp. intead
of crusader trader. this makes them build faster and
put up more of a challenge when invading england from ireland.
-- i placed a Barque in the irish sea so ireland would
not be too isolated in the early period.
--in 1.1 early period i gave england a castle in mercia
and the irish a castle,port,shipbuilder.

yeah i noticed i need to edit the irish names in mod
they are haveing translation errors ill fix in 1.2

Just a quick idea. With the new viking units,and with many of the norse who settled in ireland especially in Dublin,why not have a type of Norse/irish mercenary infantry. After all weren't the gallowglass from the hebrides and descent from scadanavian stock.

Hi GPMB,
Glad to see another working on such a mod.
I'll be happy to give you any stuff from before.
We made some units like Dalcassion Knights,
Eugeans and others plus some flags and what not.
They were made for a mod about the Battle of Clontarf.
I postponed that mod because of the expantion pack.
It seem a better platform. So if you would like to
follow that up it would be nice as I'm a bit busy now.


I'd be happy to assist you with this.

i have played the vi expansion and it gives me
many new ideas for the mod.also i would very much
like to have any files you have concerning this mod
also i could use your help and advice with this mod.
im putting the mod on hold for a cuple of weeks due to
college finals.cheers for the help
