Viking Expanion question before i go buy it

does the viking expansion when u install it, let u still play the single player camapaign in medieval total war?

so on the game menu will i have a choice which single player campaign map i want to play Medieval and Viking?

if so will the Medieval Total war single camapaign have all the improvements in gameplay that viking comes with?

Viking Invasion changes MTW to v2.0, and old savegames and replays no longer work. What I did was reinstall MTW v1.0 to a new folder and then upgrade that with Vikings, so I have MTW v1.1 (1.7 GB) and MTW v2.0 (2.1 GB) installed.

Yes, you get VI and the MTW single play with updated units. It also includes the patch so you dont patch it.
Actually you get a choice to play the Viking `era`....which is before `early`.
