(As I cannot create a new topic in the Tavern quite yet)

I just decided to make a topic for those who don't have VI. I have to sift around to find the non-VI topics now. It's great to see such enthuiasm for the game and everything but i'm waiting till it blows over hopefully and MtW is back in the limelight a bit.

Me being so poor and really not wishing to jump away from my current games (Battlefield 1942 and MtW) I decided not to get VI

So if you don't own VI and feel like being proud of it leave a reply

I have VI, but I do miss playing in MTW, alot of my friends there dont have VI yet. And late at night its tough to get a game going. Just not enough people yet.

Lookbeyond: I feel your pain. I likely won't have VI for a while if at all.

ahh but VI adds 3 new factions plus a dozen more units to the old campaign along with the improvemetns in gameply.

so why would ppl uninstall vikings and put 1.1 MTW back on instead?

    just wondering.

Boyz, it will be coming to the computer near you soon enough. After all, if you invested $50 into the game and played a year with it, you can get a brand new skin for $30 and play 6 more months...fair deal.

There are changes in the old campaign, but it is still the good old MTW. I just installed it and started a new campaign on the Europe map.... the Vikings......I got the VI for the fixes for MTW.

It makes perfect sense since Francland is off limits in VI.

    That really stinks el_slapper.
