inquisitors help please

hi

not real clear on inquisitors.


i drag my inquisitors on an eenmy army to put the commanding general on trial for heresy.

i get a message like after a years go buy, that it succesfully kill like 1200 men in that providence...how can that be, when enemy didnt have that much army in that providence?

and when u use an inquisitors, how long u have to wait for it to do the mission? or do i have to do it again on my next turn?

hi.. this is what im trying base don another guy's comment in forum. i think you have to continually tell the inquisitor to keep trying the same general. Theinquisitor is one determined guy - he'll slowly wear down the piety of the accused until he swears he is an atheist - then he's dead.

you get 1200 dead people because the inquisitor sits in the province and tries people even if you dont tell him to do anything. The dead people are just the peasants. Lots of them around so dont worry. hoi polloi

i like inquisitors. though i always wonder why the brothel produces spies. at least they should be female spies.

Inquisitors need to have a high zeal province to work well.

When they are not burning the populace, inquisitors raise zeal for you. So flood the province with inquisitors and try to get the zeal as high as you can.

Bishops also decrease the chance of success so make sure there are none in the province, assassinate any enemy ones... and faction leaders in the same province also decrease the chance of success.

Pick on the low piety generals and let the burning begin (always use grand inquisitors for burning as they will always have the best effect)

does inquistators raises zeal for u , when u have inquistators place in enemy providence? and how does that help you?

Well, if you have a Crusade on the way to a destination, an Inquisitor or two in the path to raise zeal will mean more men for your Crusade.
