Its That Time Again

well folks, the release of VI has seen my thirst for more maps once again. Already three are made, and 2 are under construction. At my current rate there should be about 10 maps due for release within the fortnight

if you had any suggestions for maps, feel free to post them. Below are the ones ive thought of and have made/making

Alps - just a valley, the main battle takes place on reletivly flat ground, but the high surrounding mountains look grand
Dorylaeum - A historic map of the first battle of the Crusades
Loch - A Scottish Loch, need i say more
Highlands - The Scottish Highlands are here folks
Orkneyjar - the bare orcades, a vew pleasant windswept coastal maps
Wales - Ragged hills, vales and mountains
Eire - rolling Green hills... not too big, and wild like the Irish

then there is an asortment of flatish maps to join these... think totomi style


in all there will be 10 - 15 maps, maybe more, just be sure to request a few

(NB: after this pack i will begin work on the seccond installment to the LoTR series of maps... keep an eye out for Edoras )

Nice Alrowan. Once attendance in VI picks up a bit more, I'll be hosting games using maps from the mappack that Tosa put together. Two of your previous sets are in there, and I would really like to play on some of those spectacular maps you made.

Yuuki, have you tried Doryaleum ?.
It's huge and lots of room for maneuver. It's unique in that it's partially arid textures and partially rocky desert. A very nice map.

I look forward to some more of your great maps Alrowan. I also hope it comes out in a mappack that we can get most people to d/l so we can actually use them for mp games.

BTW I am planning on playing 2 sp campaigns. 1 viking era and 1 starting in early with the new factions now available (probably hungary). My question is how can I get custom maps like yours in the rotation of possible maps for a battle. Like your coastal map in rotation for coastal maps in sp so I might see it in sp when attacking or defending a coastal province.

well i completed the loch map tonight, and i think it might inspire me to make a few others of similar fashion... also its prompted me to make a Highland series, so expect 3-4 higland maps here in this pack, all are balanced for MP
