    I haven't read any posts about anyone else having this problem in MTW but maybe someone could give me some insight on this.........after installing the patch I noticed that whenever i try to hire mercenaries.....the florins are deducted but the new unit never appears on the map. I can't seem to find any explanation for this. I don't use the inn very often but sometimes i need a quick unit to fend off invaders. Any ideas on why the unit doesn't show up?

    I was going to suggest to click the hand icon in the mercenaries window to buy the unit (which is often the problem for some people that doesnt know how to operate an Inn) until I read that you occasionally use the Inn.
    The only other explination I can think of is it may be a bug with stealth units as mercs, like Hashishin or Sherwood Foresters, or such, but I dont know if this is true or not. I've never experienced this kind of problem myself, as I often use the Inn myself to reinforce a border province from attack while I attack a different flank (ie: reinforcing Georgia with mercs to protect from attack from mainland Turkey while using my main force to attack Morocco, and such)

    I haven't seen that either, thus far. Are you using any mods?
    Try starting a new campaign and see if that bug is persistent. Other than that, I can't offer any idea of what might be the cause for that...

    Hello BZR2x. Mighty fine of you to join us. I can't say I've heard of your problem either. Very strange. I'd go with Brutal's suggestion - start a new campaign and see if you can duplicate the error. Is the campaign in which this happened one that started before you installed the patch and continue afterwards? Anything other information you think might be tied to the problems, would be helpful.

    Your problem is not a typical problem that we've seen.

    Thanks for the suggestions.........oddly enough, after starting a new campaign hiring mercenaries is no problem. Just some random bug in my current campaign i guess. Oh well, I can live without it.
