    Question

i've recently found myself getting back into mtw, but i've got a couple quick questions for ya guys:

    1. is there any kind of mod and/or txt file change that makes the AI assault castles more often? i love fighting siege battles, but it hardly ever happens.

    2. is there any kind of mod and/or txt file change that makes the AI produce better units, and pass on the weaker ones?

    thanks.

Dont know about the first one, but the second one can easily be answered.
Open up Gnome unit editor and open the unit_prod file. Look on column 15, and change the really weak units like peasants to around 0 for each faction choice

WesW's entire MedMod is designed to do that. He's spent endless hours tweaking the column 15 AI build probabilities and the tech tree in build_prod13.txt to produce that exact result. Works pretty well. You should give it a try.
Yours was not at first a criminal nature. At 10 you stole sugar,at 15 you stole money,at 25 you committed arson. At 30,hardened in crime, you became an editor. Worse yet is in store for you. You will be sent to Congress, then to the penitentiary. But,all will be well. You will be hanged.

Are you talking MTW 1.1 or VI? In VI assaults happens a lot more often. the castles are also more important.
    Legacy for the airwaves.
