Thread: Do you love tons of battles?

I know people know of the code but playing a campaign with .conan. on is a total blast.

Just type in .conan. and you will lose control of your current country and be playing as every rebel on the map. Try playing a whole campaign - its insane. LOTS of battles every turn, often against overwhelming odds. If you like defending siege battles than you get LOTS of them while playing as the Rebels.

Sometimes you can get an economy going quite well in certain areas and develop them. I grew a decent Scottish army and took over the entire island and my Lithuanians have been holding out against CONSTANT warfare with the Poles, Novgorods, and Hungarians for almost 150 years now. The Mongols just arrived and its gonna get crazy. I've had my Scottish, Lithuanian, and a German general go from 0 stars to 9 stars JUST from battles and no fake stars from titles. It's turning out to be one of my favorite campaigns and you never have to worry about dealing with royal family and trade and economy and stuff for once. It's nice to make money and build up, but you're always gonna get new troops from rebellions all the time.

The only real annoying thing is when a faction comes back to life and steals off a ton of your troops, even ones that weren't theirs to begin with. Grrrrrr. My Lithuanians wiped out both the Poles and the Russians but they both came back and their "conquerers" joined them.

Anyway, everyone should give it a try at least once - see how long you can hold on. And if you have cash, ALWAYS upgrade your castles with extra walls and siege weapon towers. It makes the assault battle all the more interesting.

Just as an aside, I recently had a rebellion in Mercia in 1207 led by Robin of Locksley. He has his own portrait and was a decent fighter. His unit of Saxon Huscarles killed over 800 men before they routed with 2 survivors, but my Scottish army rescued him. He's turning into a total alcoholic now though haha.

Just type any cheat code in at any point when you are viewing the campaign map.

Make sure you include the full stop's before and after the code
'Odi et ammo, excrucior' - I love and I hate, it hurts.

'Excretus est ex altitudine' - Shat upon from a great hight.

Ive noticed that too. You need a lot of good land to maintain your cash flow. Even then, the bulk of your income usually is from fighting. Maybe you lose case because you are paying all those extra troops in the various rebellions across the world. Also, some armies and provinces revert to their owners from time to time, even when they were not part of a civil war. Rather annoying.

Beware the return of eliminated factions They get, not only provinces you may hold, but, your armies there, too

You gain money from your provinces - its just that you have no "king" to give acumen gains in your counry and you have a ton of troops to pay for. You need to disband your crappy troops that are just draining your money. Whenever you have a big revolt on an island like Crete I disband almos everything.

Also, make sure to give out titles.

Type .conan. the moment you get on the strategic screen and you'll be hte rebels.
