I'm a peaceful man. I hate wars. I'd like to continue playing forever, long after 1453.

I'm aware of the hack file that allows you to continue playing past 1453, but the problem is basically the Pope. All other provinces can be pacified, but the Papacy will create a revolt every few years regardless of how many spies or troops are stationed in those provinces.

Is there any way to continue playing forever, but WITHOUT ANY ENEMIES and NO PAPAL REVOLTS?

BTW, if you're playing as the rebs, will the Pope continue rebelling every few years? Is there a way to continue playing as the rebs forever? Do the rebs have to end at 1453 too?

Then play a Muslim faction, and launch Jihads against the Pope forever.

Look in the Dungeons FAQ for some info on how to contain the pope, you cannot get rid of him but with some SetBorder editing you can effectively contain him on an island where he cant be such a pain. LOS

i have the hack that allows youy to keep playing
    MTW_julien_year1454_limit_fix

its in the org download section
AFAIK you can continue playin as rebels.

just change the campmap slightly so that the pope only owns Malta and make him very poor and give it hardly any buildings and lower his starting money therefore he cant do much and you can attack him as much as you like just make sure he is put in the castle then move away
