How does this manifest itself? They won't move when you click to attack the enemy? Maybe they're tired.
"It is a good viewpoint to see the world as a dream. When you have something like a nightmare, you will wake up and tell yourself that it was only a dream. It is said that the world we live in is not a bit different from this".

How tired is your general?
How close to the edge of battlefield are you? You won't be able to to the edge, but will stop short and just have to watch them run off
The only thing you have to regret are the chances not taken.
Expect the unexpected and take in air.
Do you select a unit that's just leaving the field? As they leave your unit will stop and not chase any others.

Sorry I raise confuse. I sent my Oda Nobunaga to flank from rear of the enemy line. Meanwhile another units atack frontally. After a while my oda (HC) arived at the rear position of the enemy then start to stab from behind.
Enemy lines break and start the massacre. Enemy's taisho killed and start running away.
I order the Oda to chase, but the banner? holder only said Heeyaaa :-D and still standing with his mens. Status quite tyred, Not exausted yet.
Sounds like he got stuck in a bunch of your own men. Not too infrequent in the aftermath of a big melee.
