Well, it's Friday July 18th 9.45 pm ET, and it looks like the server decided not to let us start a game...
All games joined crashed at army selection / unit selection...
The few lucky ones that made it crashed fast thereafter... Seen that with different players and hosts.
After 2 hours, I have yet to finish a game.
What's wrong?

I managed to finish 1 game last night, in about 3 hours or so. Two crashed, and I had other server problems as well. Not much you can do.
Cant find any info on gamespy...guess they have all gone on vacation and leaving us with shitty server

something is definately not right last few days
ive had trouble last 3 days, continual disconnections (mostly at the end of games) and 'account details inncorrect' when I try to return......
same here Lahll.. having more "acct detail incorrect" past few days than I have since buyinbg VI.
Just came from GameSpy Arcade...about 100 folks, evenly divided between MTW & VI servers, about a dozen or so actually 'in game' in each. So I guess it's working OK, at least for now...at least for some folks.

Cisco Systems announced a security flaw in their routers on Tuesday last week. Hackers immediately started attacking the routers which makes them jam up and stop transmitting. Cisco routers are widely used and have to be taken off-line to patch the flaw. CNN reports there were an unusually high number of maintenance outages reported by the major internet carriers last week. In addition to the trouble staying connected to GameSpy, I noticed generalized internet slowdowns starting on Wednesday. It seemed to mostly clear up by Saturday.

On Friday I noticed a huge problem with connecting to the America's Army servers, as well. This seemed cleared up by Sunday (yesterday)
