MTW - unit availability dates query

Hi all,

Just come back to MTW with the viking addition. But replaying as the old Byzantine. I can't find a list of which units only appear in late or high period?

Does anyone have such a list.

The VI manual (pgs 12 & 13) lists the 'new' units, who they are available to, where & when. Is that what you mean?

Not really, noticed that, I was referring to the old units. I have now found something on the net which answers some of my questions.

BUT

Where have the armenian heavy cavalry gone? I am a byzantine in the early period, these are normally very useful but seem unavailable?
