Installing codecs causes crash

I've recently installed ACE Mega codecs pack 5.93 and now i can't play MTW The game starts properly but when I get to the game type selection ( SP / MP / options and such ) the monitor just goes blank. Violently hitting the keyboard repeatedly doesn't help.. Have anyone else had this problem ? Oh, btw there is not a codec uninstaller so I can't seem to remove my newly installed codecs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi blodokse, welcome to the Org

I haven't had that problem. But if I did, I'd try:

1) Open WinMediaPlayer
2) Click Tools>Options>Plug ins
3) Select the offending Plug In(s) & click 'Remove'
