OK, this is an old issue now, and I could tell you to read the old threads on this issue, but I won't
If you are 'dropped' from a game - you lose your connection to the host - then this counts as a defeat. This is to prevent people from disconnecting from the 'net to avoid defeat. Unfortunately, it sometimes is the case that you lose connection because of reasons beyond your control. When you lose for these reasons it is very frustrating, but there's nothing you can do about it .
The only suggestions I can offer are these:
Play against people you know, at least they will offer you a rematch.
Host games - this prevents you losing because of connection failure.
Check the latency of your opponent before joining a game. If it's over 600 then don't even think about joining.[/list]
Hope that's some help!

upon rereading I noticed it didn't say what I had thought it did: When I lose I get a kick out of this game!

Count yourself lucky for even being able to get online, DarkSword.
I've been trying to get online for two weeks now to see what it's like, and I still haven't been able to do it.
Those "tech support" reps at EA are the most incompetent band of idiots I've ever dealt with!

No, no. I have at 640,000 bps DSL connection throught Qwest.net. It's solid and stable.
The problem is that EA Play refuses to recognize any combination of passwords I enter. I'm beginning to think somebody's using my product code.
there is no product code security; I have STW installed on three different computers at three different places (work, home, and another at work) and I use dif names and p/w at each one.
Make sure you have the proper name name chosen for that user name, it;s a common mistake.
Proper name aka family name.
Took me ages to figure that one out back in June!
