    Welcome

Against ninja's you need similar to SP: Cavalry. They won't do too well at first but after a few horsey losses the ninjas should perish.

As for use, H2H against ranged units and stars against H2H units. Obvious really

GAH! Arquebusiers in wedgies will take them down. But you must attack the ninjas, not sit and wait for them to disrobe.

That or use your own ninjas. GAH! Fight fire with fire! YEEHAAAW! Why waste a good cav on some pajama mamas?

there are two ways to 'expose' ninjas to missile fire. one is when they open fire they can now be targetted, and two, bring a unit close enough to them and they are then fully 'seen'. this second method is the same as with any unit that is 'concealed'; if you move close enough to unit concealed in the woods it becomes exposed. the same is true with ninja. both cav and missile units are quite effective against ninja once exposed.

It baffles me the way most people use ninja online. They march them up as if u cant see them and attempt to attack units with them. All i do is string some cav out in ranks 2 deep wait for ninja, charge out and let my guns do the rest.Try hiding your ninja in another unit as they move, then leave them concealed and wait for the oppurtune time to use them. Its not very ninja-like to let your enemy know that they r there i thought the whole point to ninja was the element of surprise.
winning and losing exist in the future, the future does not exist, concentrate on these two things and you will always fail no matter what the outcome.

    What? Calvary?

See you in the jungle then.

Fair enough, I was thinking of open terrain.

I had one battle when I deployed a unit of honor 0 BN near the enemy line. But was stupid enough to forget turning OFF auto-fire (I was thinking of using that unit as a scout and for future ambush).

So they fired upon the passing by AI and blew the cover and my entire plan. The next thing I know, 3 units of YCs with full weapon updates were charging at them! I told the BN to run into the jungle and hold the ground there. And the AIs ENTIRE left wing (about 400 men) were distracted by merely 12 men!

By the time my own cavalry and WMs came to the rescue and routed the AI, the battle ninjas had collected about 100 heads without one single loss.
