Hi, I was over at the Dungeon and read the instructions in a post similar to this. I forget who wrote the instructions but the topic was startred by I think Lancer6969. The instructions was a 17 step guide to creating a new unit. I had followed the instructions to the letter and have got the unit in my build queue and can build and fight with them. The only problem is that when I right-click on the unit icon (to get the description and general's stats) the game crashes to desktop . Does anybody know how to fix this. Thanks a lot in advance.
p.s. How can I post in the dungeon? Thanks.

Well... What I did is use an existing unit as a template. Woodsmen, it was. I did copy everything about them under my new unit's name(Jedi, hehehe, but should also work with more realistic units). And I modified the units file too(thanks to gnomeEditor). Then I had working Jedi who were woodsmen-like units. That was my first step.

And only then I began To mod them like I wished, small number, invisible, 5 years training, armageddons defence, huge cost, available to France only.....

That is the sure way. Imitate what already works, only after mod it as you wish.

Thanks for trying to help but when I was creating a new unit (Viking Archers) I realized I forgot to put the renamed file from the /campmap/Info_pics/Units file back in there that is why it crashed. Thanks for trying to help though.
