Med Mod Opinions

i have another bone of contention. so far i have downloaded every version Kevkit's med mod and have been connsistently disapointed by this over-rated mod. all these apparently new units are merely re-hashes of existing units. although it looks terrible, at least Blind King of Bohemia's mod is original. however, my forth coming mod, which will be released soon, will blow both of these out of the proverbial water. if Kitkat wants to discuss his mod further he can message me and i will be happy to discuss its flaws. Same for BKB

While I can't comment on MedMod, I can comment on why it's so popular. I apologise if the following text offends, that is not my intention.

Most people just want to play and don't have the time, inclination or ability to create mods such as those you don't appear to like. But most people finding they like something tend to become aggressive when someone criticizes(sp?) it. This you experienced in the other thread. However, since you intend to put your money where your mouth is, we shall see.

Yeah sure neither mod is perfect, in fact neither is the game BUT...

Why don't you make some suggestions ? I am sure that the modders can change stuff, and are willing to do so.

Dude, i suggest you go away and get treatment and get it quick because your comments aren't impressing anyone. Do you know how hard modding is? It can be very difficult and can annoy the hell out of you when you get things wrong.

What are you talking about when you say Kevkits Med Mod? There two completley different mods made by two different modders. Get your facts straight before you mouth off because you offending peoples hard work.

This is your third post, why not make your forth one a nice one, ok?

Wes, Kev Kit what ever. it doesnt matter they're both as poor as each other. Your mod isn't that great either. don't talk to me about modding, i've been doing it for ages, and my results are far more superior than yours. You shall see it soon. Then you'll eat your words as well.

If you think that you are superior to Wes in modding then I am really interested in your mod. Make sure that you add some pictures and a list of new features.
I can tell from your post that you have quite some experience in modding. I'm just starting my own mod, so could you please answer these questions:
- How many factions/provinces are minimally required?
- Do you know how to add new dead bodies to the deadpage.TGA image and change deadpage coords.txt accordingly?

My first question would be why all the hostility towards these people and there mods of which you obviuosly no very little, with this kind of inflammatory posting you are not going to make many friends in this modding community, of which we have a very dedicated bunch, I doubt anyone will even play a mod of yours, with your disrespect to others I doubt you will last around here, why dont you try giving constructive critiscism and be a little less offensive in your posts.The Med Mod is a well respected mod in these parts as is WesW, I have not played Blind King's mod so I cannot comment but I know he is a well respected member of this community, so think before you lash out with unfounded critiscisms and childish rantings LOS

We really dont like your type of attitude here, and these type of posts will not win you any gratitude or respect. If you have constructive criticism, then great...by all means start threads like this or even private message the modders themselves with suggestions. But publicly slagging the modders off will achieve nothing.

A website is a great idea Perhaps you could make a forum too, the advantage of that would be to avoid having you intermingle with such lesser modders. You can then concentrate your highly informative posts into one place
