Aye, you can always recognise a moderator by these signs:

*They belong to the group 'moderator' or 'assistant moderator' when you look under their portrait.

*They wear a hood so no one can recognise them, well the assistant mods don't need a hood but the rest have to hide from the angry hordes they have upset

*They ask you if you want a trip to the dungeon. Most people think mods mean the dungeon forum for editing the game; few know the awful truth of foul torture and spiky things

*They send massive waves of smilies at you when you first post on the org. A couple of them even tell bad jokes.

So here we go - would you like a trip to the dungeon? A man walked into a bar and said Ow Who put that bar there?

As well as the information in the Sword Dojo there are some very informative threads in the STW archives if you haven't seen those already. Also if you have any questions, just ask.

Thank you for the interesting thread. I first read Shogun in college, the hardback, in three days Uh, the hardcover was 1300 pages. At one stretch, 18 straight hours, pausing only to pee. I even read while eating. I think that was '76. I've reread it many times, since.

One of my favorite books, and one of my favorite writers, even if Clavell breaks many writer rules and drives me nuts with POV shifts.

It's a good thing that war is so horrible or we would grow to love it too much.
