hey all, here are my problems. i have had mtw for a little bit now. i can play small battles no problem at all. but if i go to big battles, big online battles, or big custom battles(big battles in general)the game wont load, then it says it is out of video memeory or something like that. so i changed my memory up to 600. it still doesnt work.
    here are my system specs:
    cpu-emachines t1360
    -1.30 ghz intel celeron processor
    -60 gb hard drive
    -128 mb sdram
-page filing 195 mb used/520 mb available
-graphics card-3d graphics intel direct agp(32 mb)
    - i have over 40 gb left on my hard drive

when i first got the game, it said it wasnt compatible with intel graphics sets so i got the intel 82810E graphics controller of a site, so that is what im running now. if anyone can give me help i would appreciate it. i just want to know if it is fixable or will i have to buy a new v-card and more ram? thanks for the time.

    Hi there arcada

Welcome to the most informative forum for TW yet

To be honest, I have no idea why it shouldn't work. Might be a graphic card prob but I wouldn't put my hand into the fire for that. Have you tried to minimise your options so as to not put too much pressure on the memory ?

Am sure there will be some cleverer replies here, so don't worry and just wait a while till you will be off and chasing those vikings...

Greetings mate, I had the same exact problem when I first started playing, I had an intel integrated vid card with 16mb not much help there, so I got my self a GeForce MX440 and that did the trick, 2 things look to be your problem, the amount of ram only 128 is kind of scant, and the intel video just doesnt cut it, I had the same exact set up on my PC and my remedy new vid card I already had 256 ram so no probs there, But I think thats your trouble

ah, good ole cheap eMachines. as others have stated, the intel grapics arent very good. bypass it with a new vid card. being eMacines, however, you're prolly going to be stuck with putting a pci card in there. most of the eMachines are so cheap, they dont even have an agp slot. so, check it first before buying a new card.

you can try updating the drivers, and those might help a bit, but it's still going to be mostly unsatisfactory. dont know why, if someone told you the intel graphics werent much good, that you went and got an intel controller. kinda makes no sense to me, but, oh well.

if you can, try and avoid teh gf4 mx 4xx series of cards as replacements. they can work. i have one in one machine, but they tend to be a bit fussy and a bit low end. but, if your eMachines machine doesnt have an agp slot, you may well have to get the gf4 mx.

sorry bubba, but that really is the story on this.
