A good article on Bush hatred

Why is Bush so hated?
I thought there could be some interesting discussion on this. Unfortunately i won't be able to reply as much as I would like due to my naughtiness.

Well ... regarding the first article, it gives a good choice of reasons to dislike Bush (some are missing though ), while the author's choice of words more or less openly displays that he rather likes to think of the things he lists as great achievements of a decisive man.

IMO opinion an attempt to sway readers without providing any background information just by wording.

I'd rather not post what I thought about the author of the second article when I read his opus

Ah, this boring old whining again. We saw exactly the same style of argument after September 11th, why do people hate America?

Well, the reason people hate Bush is becuase he is a right wing zealot who has undermined American civil liberties, initiated a global war of futility, abused the UN, insulted everyone not American, whipped up anti-French racism for political expedience, and wrote a huge tax cut for his fatcat buddies. Oh yes, and now we see the Iraq was really about privatisation at gunpoint.

But of COURSE none of these things is motivating Bush-haters. Oh no - Bush-haters are irrational. They must be. Anyone who disgares with Republicans is obviously mad, and will soon be sent to a reeducation camp so that they learn thge rror of their ways.

the first article makes some valid points. I just happen to dislike Bush for the exact same reasons the author appears to like him.

Fair enough. But the difference he has made is why I dislike Bush. His views are anathema to my own. I hate what he stands for, not who he is.

The second article is just bait. It's the sort of thing you hear from ignorant, ill-informed, bigots the world over.

Why hate Bush - cause his wars are not as total as ours
I personally think that wars like that one in Iraq - this is just crap - what kind of war is that - american boys dying on the steets of Bagdad and people want peace?
No people need peace - all ppl need war
And those UN junkies - what they can do - their blue soldiers aren't even real soldiers - cause soldiers are to fight and not to protect the babies.
