First, a great many thanks for the Mod
I enjoy it a lot and I look forward to explore the many new possibilities it enables.
Now, the remarks ( since you asked us to help you make it better )....
1.Perhaps disable the GA option, since pressing the button crashes the game with some factions..
2.Make sure the English is a viable faction when played by the AI, with all those aggressive neighbours it might need a fleet from the start, I will know more when I have played it a few times more.
3.Same goes for the Danes, which I crushed easily with the Norse very early in the game.
4.In general, some small factions can be very short-lived wich is a pity, since they add so much to the pleasure of the mod. Some do surprisingly well, though, and I can expect them to be alive and kicking in later stages.
Maybe a Burgundian-Swiss faction would even things and make life more interesting for the French who face a very hampered English, their traditionnal foe.
5.Some minor adjustments in the combat factors and costs of new units might be a good idea ( as an example, in Sweden why would I build Finnish warriors when the Baltics are more cost effective, or at least seem so ? ).
BTW, I would be very pleased to try and playtest some tweakings in that field if only the Gnome Editor would not come with an error message when I try to load the unit file ( It works great with the VI unit file and the Kekvit Mod unit file ). It would be a great help if someone could find a way to eliminate that error.
    6. Spelling is near perfect, though RutHenians should be rutHless.
    7. I was not able to completely understand the copy/paste thing about the Vikings portrait folders, maybe because a previous mod ( Kekvit's) had changed things there, also maybe the next version will come with an installer, which I think many people will welcome.
That is all for a start, I am very pleased with that mod, I want to thank ALL the modders and utility programs makers who give us such added and renewed pleasure with the game.
    Gonzalo.

I think you make some good points there such as the first five( but it is early and the Swiss and Burgundy as true powers didn't come around until late).

Most of the units will be evened out for the proper release. The Ruthenians were a people around the Medieval ages and king Koloman of the Ruthenians fought with the Poles at Liegnitz and threw a Mongol rider on horseback over the bridge( He was a man known for his great strength)
I'm sorry about the viking potraits but if they would have been in the mod, it would have been HUGE(Almost twice as big, try having a look in the Alchemist Lab and i think i've done a BKB mod thread. That has additional info about problems with the Beta.

I don't use the Gnome editor, so i have no idea what the problem is.

Thanks for the feedback, the English, Byzantines, Danes and Germans will all be strengthed accordingly for the official release.

I played some more ( I play TOO MUCH ), it is still very good, noticed a few things :
    - Africa cannot be spied from a ship, an emissary worked fine .
    - Names of some factions are erroneous in the events messages ( ex: the king of the Aragonese has died , his heir has taken command of the Almoravids )
    - Description text of Andalucian cavalry says it is fast, but actually it is slow moving.
    - Norse cannot build crusades or Templars, etc..., but can build Order crossbowmen.
    - Not sure if all the units advertised as equipped with axes really have them.
Those are very minor things that can only be detected through extensive playing.
I assumed you might be interested to hear of them, but if you don't need a self-appointed playtester, I'll just stop.
    Cheers,
    Gonzalo.

Thanks Gonzalo. I am sorry about the problems with names. When you try to make an alliance with Bohemia it says Faction xyz has recomended your alliance, which is annoying but i'll try to fix it for the proper release.
I will enable the Norse to train crusades because i think they were part of the attack against Moslem Lisbon in the 12th century.
Sorry about some of the unit problems, all of the problems will be corrected.
Poor England, HRE, Denmark and Byzantium will also be strengthed for the full release.

BKB,don't feel sorry, this is not complaints, it is help
I read Hamburglar's posts, very funny ( and reassuring ) that he made the same observations.
I pinned down the andalucian cavalry problem, BTW, it has infantry speed stats.
What do you use to edit the units stats ? This is something I do all the time, to tweak the balance.
Keep up the good work and DON'T FEEL SORRY
    Back to the game, cheers,
    Gonzalo.
