I have downloaded the mod, and placed it in my mtw folder. I then went through the install wizard and was told that it had installed correctly. I then extracted the zipped files to the same directory. Nothing happens. (My test for this is weathe or not the danes can immediately build vikings in early, since the mod explanation states that they first need a swordsmith)

Can someone explain the proper installation process to me step by step? While I have patched many a game previous to this, I am not very good with computers and am getting extremely frusterated with this whole process.

Moving this to the Dungeon -> Alchemist lab forum. You'll get better attention there.

    Is it medieval version 1.1?

You probably didn't have Winzip set to keep the file structure.

The zip also needs to be unzipped into the "Total War" folder, not the MTW folder.

You'll know it installed correctly if you get a bunch of over-write questions, and see "MM 1.85" in the upper left corner of the Main Menu.

Sorry for the late reply, but IE wasn't working right when I saw this a few days ago.
