I need help in setting up an army in early. Defender with say 15,000 f.....

If I were you, I wouldn't take any advice on army selection from me, so I won't even bother to offer you bad advice.

in mt early english campiagne right now, my army consist of 2 royal knights, 2 fedule knights, 3 lonbowmen, 3 billmen, 3 fedule foot knights, and 3 fedule men-at-arms, i know i don't have any spear type units, but right now the best i have is the spearmen, and they're not that great . so

only if you are playing the first version of MTW, if you play it with the updates or IV, you have to wait till 1205 or thereabouts to get them.

you can get 3 units of longbows in early if you bribe the Welsh, instead of attacking them.

if you are defending, get plenty of archers, upgraded if possible, chivalric sargents, a few swords men and militia sargents and a couple of units of knights.

you could, if you have the kekvilte(sp?) mod
