is it possible to put shogun units in MTW

i was just wondering...as the units 'seem' to be the same and done the same way...is it possible simply to replace the unit_prod.txt with all the units from shogun..or as additions...i don't own shogun but it i was just curious.

no,
you cannot simply transfer them across,
some of the bif file frames are in the wrong order,
some used 2 bif files to make one unit, and thus they need to be edited into one file,
the actions are a bit mixed up and need research to get them right,
weapons are handled differently, and thus they need to be redone too,

wait for the Shogun Mod - we have done most of these things and will have them polished enough to release a beta version soon,
