downloading total war

this is not a plea for a pirate version.
Is i cannot find it in stock any where i am woundering if the is a shop online that will let me pay and then download it instead of geting it phsyicaly shiped.
Again i don't want a pirated version.

amazon game ect are all out of stock of it. And again i don't whant a pirated version. You now how you can some times buy a game but download it legaly and not get a cd trough the post.

uh....yeah but it's gonna be pretty hard to find a legit retailer who does that, I don't know of any in the U.S. .....

I'm beginning to think the universe is against you andy. I've not heard that any of the TW games are available via download - that would be an outrageously huge download.

I'm assuming you've called around to local stores? I can't offer any suggestions since I don't live in the UK. I know here in the US I've seen MTW in department stores too.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the budget version(15&#8364

some weeks ago in Paris. But coming here is more costly

... I'll take a look. With any englishman sending you the LOC files, it would work perfectly.

But it would be better, of course, to find it in England.

i would only realy like a uk version to avoid any uncombatabilty of patchs, V.I. or any upgrades or mods.
I might not rember which version i had if the is differnt pacths for differnt versions.

Try www.play.com Jersey based mail order. They should have stock, and the price isn't bad. Delivery is about 3-5 days.

Happily I think judging from HA's latest posts he managed to pick up a copy. I like PLAY myself, tend to buy a lot of things from them, their prices are far far better than you average high street shop

I wonder if this 'out of stock problem' has anything to do with the time commanders TV programme over here in the UK.

Wouldn't creating a downloadable version make the game much more pirate-able?

Just download a pirated version and donate some money to the manufacturer

i live in doncaster (not too far away) and ive found that comet, currys or dixons usually have one of the total wars in shop.

try trygames.com or something like it. they got full games like civ3 u can download. then after u play it for a certain time. u can't play it anymore. if u want to buy, it all u need is a credit card. then next time u start, the buy game screen will appear agian. just put in the code they gave u . then u can continue the game

I would guess rather, that Activision intend on releasing a 'Warlords' edition of MTW with VI and so are not providing the original relase to the market place to ensure they make as much as they can from the new release.

Dunno if this is much help, but the Game shop in Blackburn had several copies in, just over two weeks ago.

Maybe you could give em a ring and if they have any left they could post you one out.
