sorry to bring up again. i put in green_generals in the shortcut and i have yet to notice any stat change when generals die (this is in VI with and without the patch). i notice the command line also says "strictserver" before this, will gg not work with ss? what happens if i take strictserver out?

btw, patch works good for me, current king is 59 but his bro died of natural cause at 52, i like the uncertainty aspect.

    How'd you type it it?

Put a space in front and don't forget the dash in front of "green":

    -green_generals

It didn't work for me after installing the patch, I fixed this by deleting the old link on my desktop, creating a new one and adding the commandline options once again. That worked. Perhaps you have a similar problem with your link somehow pointing to the old exe and messing things up. Hey, it's windows, after all...

i have it typed in correctly. maybe something with the link? i have it typed in the desktop shortcut but my cd loads automatically when inserted, maybe its using some other exe file rather than the shortcut for auto loading? sorry i'm no whiz on computer workings. or could it be strictserver blocking it, what the heck is strictserver anyway?

It has to do with MP IIRC. So if you don't play MP then I guess you could delete it.

Dude, when you put the CD in, "Autoplay" kicks in. Doesn't a Menu popup where you can install/uninstall, DirectX9, "Play", etc.

Do not click "Play", click "Exit", then click the Desktop Icon, it'll only work if you use the Desktop icon
