unit textures anyone?

i've been scanning these forums and have run across many pics displaying various modded unit textures...seeing that unit textures are definetly one of the toughest and most time consuming portions of modding...i think it would be nice if these textures were to be made available to everyone..many of these could be tweaked to create an enormous array of different units that could benefit everyone with interest in mtw.....i have managed to download the few that are available...but have been unable to locate downloads for others....(ie flips units, grease paintm...roman archers, etc.)

Greetings and welcome alogic What you say seems to be a reasonable and fine suggestion. I'm not a modder though, so lets see what a modder has to say about your idea.

Hi alogic,

Most of the units come attached to a mod (usually created for one). At the moment the only one that has made totally new units is Duck John using Light wave. You can check for Duck Johns Tavern.

The rest of us simply change the shields around and give the impression of a new unit (i.e. my old Hoplites).

If you have skills with Light Wave then we need unit creators. DJ has the skeleton ready and you mostly need to texture it and render it.
