i did some testing on SA vs skirmishers. SA can on average fire 8 rounds till the skirmishers close up (walking). But, the most they could kill was 1, read one, man!!!
480 arrows fired -1 man killed
and that is just the first half of the story. the skirmishers killed on average 10 archers with their first volley!
the best was 19 kills with their very first volley!!!
and some wonders why no one wants to play against the mongols!!

You ever played a javelin rush? I got my arse pounded a couple of times when i bought a normalish Samurai army on Totomi. If your opponent is quick and keeps his general safe he can quickkill you with these boys no trouble. if he doesn't win in the first minute it's an easy mop up job. Give these boys some melee capability and they'd be awesome (but then they'd also be Roman legionaries, which is quite another story...)

The Korean Skirmishers have a shield which protects them against arrows. Best to take them out with cav if possible. Their weakness is hth capability and morale.

Note that they must come very close to attack. So cav nice NC can attack them(not directly but from their flanks) and mop em up. If the Mongols gt there with MHC to assist them your archers will be in range for some MHC killing action. Also when facing units like them use loose formation since it will reduce killed units a lot.

It is suicide if you don't win quick, but they can win. I don't claim to be good at MP, but I am competant, and I win more than I loose, but onflat terrain, deployed close so that your opponent can't react they can kill
