Sometimes the game CTD for no apparent reason. It works fine for a number of turns then for no reason at all crashes to desktop - well usually it happens during an invasion or when it's shifting to the battle screen. I likewise modified the build file in MTW VI and it was working okay for a while then suddenly it died.
