ive made an early russia mod the doesn't crash due to the presence of the novgorodians also i was thinking russia doesn't have any heavy infantry so i made some from the earlyVG unit and it is still under construction but i think it is ready for release.

well russia is playable in the early age they get a heavy infantry unit (earlyvangarian guard unit)they lacked a heavy infantry english can now build sherwood foresters russians can build rus spearmen and khazar cavlary

well what else could happen i haven't played through a full game yet but it should work you should be able to win ive tried to balance russia against other factions though because of it's horrible economic position so now all russia can get some of the best units in the game like Vg's Boyars, druzhina cav (they could get the last two normally but they still are some of the best cav) Khazar Royal Cav and more units to come ill give them Rus Spearmen later english now get Sherwood foresters (only in mercia) will make Boyar dismount unit later (will be really accurate bowmen that fire further then normal bows and are heavly armoured and fight like Vg's but boyar price will go up) will give polish and danes crusades or better units russians are to become better economically as development goes on this project i name "Erussia and Unit pack" more to come later all these units will not be usable in custom battles and Multiplayer
