Probs getting Med Mod to start

Hi... Someone suggested I re-post this here as it's mod-related....

Hi folks... I've had a little look through the other parts of the forum for the answer to this, and I hope I'm posting in the right place...

I have an ssue with getting the game to run after installing Med Mod.

I can install M:TW, VI and the patch...no probs... also I can install MM version 2.04... runs fine.. If I then try to install the MM version 3 Graphics and the text 3.12 or 3.14 (neither work)... clicking on the .exe makes the CD spin up, the splash screen to appear.... screen goes blank, and .... CTD.
Also, if I just install V3 (Graphics first obviously)without 2.04, the same thing happens.

I am running XP and only have this problem after installing the mod.
any ideas?

Try adding a blank text file to the C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War folder called skipcredits. Just create a new file and rename it. I had the same problem and this cleared it up for me and I am also running XP.

When you launch the little black MTW screen should appear and a program window in the taskbar and then it should skip straight to the campaign parchments.
