    Question

    God bless broadband I now have the pleasure to download 38 megs in 20 seconds then open the file, and see that I have downloaded the wrong file, delete it then download another 40 megs in another 20 seconds..

    What are good free filesharing progs? can u give me links? Kazaa is now paid download and I cant find much links.

    I've heard from a few freinds that people are now sharing songs using AIM's shared files feature. I myself have not tried it yet, so I'm not sure exactly how it works.

    Foreign Devil is right you can share files through programs such as AIM or MSN and the cool bit it establishes a direct link from PC to PC and theres no limit on file size that can be transfered...LOS

    Say what? You have to pay to download Kazaa? Or you have to pay to download things using Kazaa? I just re-downloadad Kazaa last week and haven't had to pay for anything. In fact, the mention of $$$ has never even been made.

    I use Kazaa for downloads and I haven't had to pay anything

    I have cable connection and have 75 kb per/sec.

    My access to internet is within the university so I can download as much as 1,5 megs/sec.

    I just learned that Emule and Kazaa are restricted by the university computer center (as they use too much bandwidth).
