    Happy days,

Sjakihatas request for snow, reminded me that the holidays are nearing and that there are some Santa smileys. Since Ikonboard easily supports multiple skins: a XMas skin. The current colors may be horrible, if so drop me a note and we'll try to improve it. Not every edit can be made as some parts that should change are also used there and there (unreadable text is an example).

The original snow script seems lost, but this new one would do too.

You can select skins in Your Control Panel/Account Options.

It's rockin', but I don't suppose the green could be lightened a tiny bit could it, Tosa? It's very in your face at the moment. The snow and Merry Christmas message are awesome though.

    Very nice

I think the green must be somewhat darker instead of lighter...this green hurts a bit

    Love those snowflakes

I agree a darker or pastel green would be better. This is quite hard on the eyes.

I feel the same way about the "electric green". The first time I tried it I thought I had fried my retinas. There that's better. I do like the Christmasy feel to it.

I concur with regards to changing the shade of green.

Edit: Although I must say that my avatar looks very nice against it

I've changed the postcolors to something that should be a bit easier for the eyes, but I'm not the one to judge as mine are radiation resistent.

I'll make a copy of this skin and experiment with colors.

Yes, please do more experimenting. the icons are cool, however.

I salute the snow, but the green is too much for me So a bit more experimenting won't harm I guess.

Yes, the colours the board is in now are good. Text is clear and colours are not likely to burn your retinas I don't like the lime green and black text when you choose to post a reply though, it is a little eye watering. The snow is very seasonal.

Did I just see the santa head in Kas' post title laugh or am I seeing things? :froggy rubs her eyes: Nope, it is still laughing. Very nice touch.

Not yet Papewaio san, but I'll be happy to assemble and activate such a skin if you could provide me the colorcodes and duststorm Javascript.

    Looks great now.

Is it just my imagination or do the new background colors give the avatars a very warm look (like from an open fireplace)? very nice

This is my kind of snow Krae. It's 72 degrees in here, and no shoveling.

    yeah great stuff Tosa,

Maybe the black background should be replaced with an image? (Much like how the Shogun forum has an image of the campaign map)

How about a snowy landscape from one of the TW games? that would be great.

    I love this snow effect
