It wont allow any of my ships to get into the central mediterranian part of the ocean. Crap. I think its because I only have Barques and I dont think they can go out that far. dang. I edited the date so I might have awhile till I can get better ships. If Im right anyone got any ideas on how to edit a ship unit so I can get it into my game and take over the last of the sicilians??? Thnks

make ships that can go to deep sea , destroy their ships there and either invade or bribe

hm, since agents really just need any ship to travel. i persumed that there are no ships near the silican provinces. then u have to go with rasoforos's idea. pump out ships in several provinces and destroy the siclian ships. just don't put the attacking ships in stacks

But agents don't need ships to travel. Just ports in the place they are and whereever they're going.

Mo, in the manule(sp), it says agents uses the games merchant system to travel around, while i know that the merchants are invisable(sp), they still need ships from port to port. so i believe agents need ships to travel but they can use the comps ships also.

Barques can't go into the deep sea; you'll have to wait till the Middle period and have a shipyard upgraded to the second level (forgot its exact name) to pump out caravels.

That said, there's no coastal province or island on the campaign map that you can't get to with galleys or barques, you don't need deep sea vessels -- you should be able to get to wherever the sicilians are. Do you have an uninterrupted line of vessels from your troop stack to the target island? Are there ships of any faction you're at war with in an intervening sea zone?

    Court Jester A great name

Anyway, you can get to Sicily by invading Naples and then there is a land link. If it is Malta you want, it is not located in the central maeditaranean, but in Malta Channel, which you can get to be barques.

    Hope this helps.
