I always thought that the first army you sent into enemy territory was was the one you fought with, and the ones following it were just reinforcements, but the other day I sent about 7 armys into a province, and my army I started with was all mixed up. Why does it do this, or am I just imagining things?

    ranemaka,

The game doesn't distinguish the armies based on the sequence you place them with (it's turn based after all). The problem arises when you have more than sixteen units in total. WE/MI caters for that by giving you the ability to select the units you want to attack with once you arrive on the battlefield. I'm not sure but i think in the orginal STW, you can't do this.

I have never seen a screen that lets you decide what troops you can send into a battle if you have more than 16. But it would help me also, for I get this problem from time to time.

    Toda,

When you initially setup, there is a button that allows you to switch out individual units.
