At this time (709 A.D.) the Magyars are still part of the Khazar Khaganate. It wasn't until 737, when the Umayyads invaded Khazaria, that the Magyars exerted their independence along with the Volga Bulgars.

I just added a the Bulgar Dux Alzec to the Langobard heroes list. Apparently they were settled in the Duchy of Benevento under King Grimoaldo. He was made the Gastald (Count) of the area he was settled in.

I am planning on converting my Carolingian mod (4 campaings - 843 AD, 870 AD, 888 AD & 923 AD) to VI. The Magyars are very well represented in these. I will post it when it is completed.
