No problem: Install a new version of MTW and rename it in the installations path with an other name then the original game (or install it to another folder/directory).
Then install VI: Click on the cd-drive, where your VI-cd-rom is and click on it with the right mouse-button and select Explorer: Then click there on setup and choose the new MTW installation, where you should install VI.

Or even easier, just copy and paste the M:TW installation directory.
MTW doesn't cause problems when doing this as opposed to normal windows programs.
