I debated posting this in the dungeon, but it's not a real modding question, and I figured that many would be interested in this. I'm not sure if this has been addressed before, or at least recently.

I noticed that when I right click on properties on my VI shortcut on my desktop that it has -strictserver at the end of the target. This looks a lot to me like a command line argument.
My question is, what does this -strictserver do? And, what are the other - commands that we can give MTW: VI, in which combinations, and what do they do? It seems like someone has probably made documentation on this subject but I was unable to locate it.

    Thanks a lot

Strictserver is for MP. When that is enabled a game is not allowed to go out of sync (battle starting to get different results on each player's computer)

If you remove the strictserver command each player can end up playing a very different battle..yes both might even think they are winning heh.

Some other commands are listed here
