When making units it helps to add something infront of the unitname. For example for the Wars of the Roses mod every unit gets WOTR infront of his name, so we'll have:

    WOTRBillmen
    WOTRLongbows
    WOTRMenAtArms
    WOTRKnights

Then when you're exploring your MTW folder, just select all the files you want, copy and paste them. Then rename the files. Because of the WOTR tag you will instantly see all the new units you have made because they share the first few letters.

Why does this speed up unit creation? It helps me keeping track of all the needed files. It is pretty easy to forget a single file and BAM CTD. You can now easily check the files, especcialy when you have written down a list of units.

It usually works better to plan everything, write it down or in a excel sheet and then mass produce everything. You can tailor the descriptions, images at a later stage, but at least you have a working mod with loads of new units.

    Cheers, Duke John
