    Hi LeBob,

Wellington is alive and well, but unfortunately (due to real life issues) I no longer have the time available that I used to have. Hence my decreased activity in this modding group.

MTTM is also alive and well, but further developement of it has slowed down as a result of the above.

Some parts of MTTM are still not working 100% correctly, other parts have still to be written and the documentation (whilst quite comprehensive) is still sadly deficient in some areas. Also, with such a large utility that addresses so many areas of MTW/STW I hav'nt been able to test everything as thoroughly as I hoped to.

Bear in mind MTTM addresses a LOT of different areas now, in terms of maps/tilesets/trees/backdrops/models for the MTW battlefield for both MTW and STW. It really is quite a comprehensive utility/tool.

Having said that, however, at present around 80%+ of the functionality works fine, and I've probably completed around 50%+ of the documentation it deserves.

I had initially wished to make MTTM as 'idiot proof' as possible and by supplying good documentation make it usable by anyone. The reality is that (probably) many newbies won't understand MTTM or what it does - regardless of how much doumentation I write - and other more knowledgeable MTW/STW modders won't require the amount of documentation I've been trying to provide with a 1st release.

Anyway, I stand by my initial comments in the stickied thread ("And now for something completely different") in that some of the things MTTM can do will "blow your minds"

Therefore I think I'll release what I have at present as an initial BETA release - MTTM version 1 release 1. This will comprise 2 Zips -

    - "MTTM_V1R1.zip" (the main code and download - around 1 meg)
    - "MTTM_NewTrees.zip (images - around 500K)

I'll E_mail this stuff to Barrocca ASAP and ask him to upload it to a suitable 'Org' download area. As MTTM is less than 2 Meg maybe Tosainu can host it on his 'special' download area.

This BETA release won't be 100% perfect, as I had initially strived towards, but it will be 80% usable.

Thanks for the information I cant wait to check this tool out, I cant wait to have a go at making Middle earth buildings. Although Im new here at the org, by reading these boards its obvious you have done a massive amount of work in the past and I salute you for your efforts Keep it up, and thanks.

    Konnichiwa Wellington san,

Yes it will be hosted there too. In fact, even if it were 70 mb it would (but you're right that space is not unlimited there).

The 2 mb limit is what the PHP uploadtools can handle at a time: splitzip it and one can upload batches of 10 mb in one go.

I'm looking forward to it too.
