Cool, these posters are only as distastefull as games like Call of Duty, MOH etc. as for the Hun he hasnt been so nice about me either.

i might be failing to see the point here but why would posters saying stop the huns/nazis etc. be relevant to a game thats

1. nothing to do with nazis

2. nothing to do with the time period


some of those are quite distastefull, Eg. the jewish poster with "stop the nazis" slapped on it.


to sum it up: "thats sum pretty f*cked up sh*t right there"

Now you just hold on there, im about to write a reply to your post K.Y., but I would like to say right now these posters are all original WW2 posters and as far as there being a bad idea I think that time is going to show just the opposite, I wouldn't be at all surprised if loads of clans copy this idea of using war posters.

K.Y. when you say these posters have nothing to do with the time period well not the MTW time period but they are the right time period for Call of Duty, MOH and Battlefield, in all those games people can play on the Nazi side, a few years ago this would have been seen as very distasteful and some people still find this to be most offensive, you could even go as far as to call it promotion of fascism, my posters are no more or less distasteful that this.

I wanted to use Nazi posters as well as Allied posters so not to be one sided, but wanted to make it clear that SPQR clan did not sympathize with fascist views and I certainly didn't want to promote fascism in any way, I got the phrase the Hum off of the V.D poster posted below and to make it clear that SPQR clan did not support any sort of neo fascist views I just added a few anti fascist phrases like stop the Hun etc.

As for the Jewish poster, there are a lot of Neo fascist groups that deny the holocaust ever took place at all, well it did happen and lets not try to forget it, lets not forget the Jewish people that where murdered by the Nazis, and to be sure lets make sure that it never happens again to any minority group who ever doesn't like them, im not going to shuffle certain war crimes under the carpet in an effort to glorify Adolf Hitler, they did what they did and we did what we did, you cant change it, im not blaming the German people for the war crimes committed by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party but the writing was on the wall as to what he was going to do before WW2. I would never vote for any one who said things like this about any minority group.
