Hi i recently bought MTW and the Viking invasion add on, they work fine before i download the patches from the official site but after Install the Viking patch it wont work aanymore saying theres a problem involving Egyptian building in column 20 row 8 or something like that. Now i dont realyl want to play MTW unpatched because of the kings dying at 56 years bug, but if i patch MTW then Viking invasion doesnt seem to work.....i hope someone understands all this and can help me out

Hm thats strange as the Viking patch is just the exe and nothing else.

If you have the Viking expansion then you cant use the patch for MTW (1.1) only the Viking patch (2.01). You do say patches does that mean you installed both patches?

I got that problem when I had Forge of Destiny loaded.

You need Forge of Destiny III for the VI edition

Do you by any chance mod or have any mods loaded? If so, the mod may be what is messing you up. Another possibility is that you have a corrupt download.

Yeah i installed both patches, if i have Viking invasion installed then is it possible to get rid of that 56years bug.....because its realyl annoying that they always die at 56 :(
If i just install the Vikings patch does that get rid of the bug?

Install MTW, then the VI add-on and then the VI v2.01 patch. The patch fixes the 56 year bug, and other things.

Don't install the MTW 1.1 patch over the complete install of MTW and VI That can mess things up badly.
Just do a fresh of install of MTW , then VI and then apply the VI 2.01 patch. That will fix the 56 year bug and you should have no problems like the ones you reported.
