By the way: Do u know the page of the storyteller on totalwar.org? I think it is made by Maltz.
It's a really nice page (you should visit it). Maybe, if you can reach or contact this guy, he could write some stories about the battles in the tourney with screenshots and (if there is one) the video. Would be cool. Maybe anyone can create good homepages and could do the job. I think it would be a good idea.... What do you think about it?

nice idea... if the 2 finalist teams agree then we can have the last set of games that decide the tourney on display.....i can put them at the tourney site and if the org are willing they can add something here...the final battle will be a best of 4 (depending on result) and it will be something for all the enjoy (study)..and in future we can look back at previous championships...something to consider..org..its up to you now.. what do you think?

It depends on whose method u follows. There is Tera's - Get a digital camcorder and recorder live to DV-format. Or the recommended method -

    **from .ORG mainpage**
    Battle Recorder - Tuesday, January 8, 2002

After weeks of hiatus, the registration pages for playing Shogun online are back up, with new adresses. Find the updated links on the left-hand side. But certainly the most exciting news of the week is the availability of a battle recorder that records your most recent battle and lets you replay it! This recorder was already in the game - it was used by the development team as a debug feature - but only recently it was discovered that it also worked with the finished game! For the recorder to work a small operation has to be carried out.

    To record a battle
Find any shortcut for your Shogun executable - right click and click on properties. Go to the tab Shortcut and find the field Target. It should read (wherever it is installed)\Shogun.exe

Now change that to: (wherever it is installed)\ShogunM.exe ER Use ShogunW.exe if you're using the Warlord Edition.

Now you got the Recorder installed. Just run the game through that shortcut and your most recent battle will be recorded to the folder /DumpLog. Unfortunately, recordings are always saved to the same file name, so each battle that is recorded will overwrite the previous recording.

    To playback the battle
Make a copy of a shortcut for the Shogun executable and do the same process as above, but this time change the target path to:
(wherever it is installed)\ShogunM.exe mEP Use ShogunW.exe if you're using the Warlord Edition. Then just run the game from this shortcut - and this will replay the most recently recorded battle. At the end of the battle, all the troops will freeze and just escape out.

apparently not... I hope one of the Grand Masters reads this and records the battle... There is much that can be learned.
