Has anyone in here gotten it? Well, I did, and liked it, but there aren't any cheat that I could find i am doing good on it, but just for the sake of summoning a balrog whenever i want, well it would be nice to have some cheats

Are the Battle scenes like MTW or AoE2, i.e true 3D or not

well, its an rts game more like AOE2 i think you could call it true 3d, but you cant turn around. you can zoom in, and stuff, but you cant get a different angle.

WotR looks too much like WarcraftIII to me. The reviews I've read say that if you like Tolkien, the game is entertaining, but I don't want to fork out $40 for it.

I played the demo but it is too rts for me. After playing Starcraft, all other rts seem to pale in comparison. rts seemed perfect for SC, but doesn't seem right in War of the Ring.

The TW games really spoiled me too.

No kidding. TW has those thing called strategies and tactics that the more generic rts games (SC ripoff) lack.

yeah, from a game playing level, its ok....but definatly not worth 40 bux, however, my little bro got it for Christmas, and i am a tolkien nut, so there we go I prefer TW, but in TW you can call up a balrog to wreak havok on Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, and Gimli. Plus the map editor is nice. Say hello to Shelob, Theoden, Witch King and the gang

I'll give it a miss too

MTW is just the best RTS to date.
