    Hi

    I recive this error message

"Too many data columns found in parse file"

    on a window called

    "column_unit_noncampain_faction_association"

Any ideas where could be the error please ?

I think that is about a File_unit_prod that I am modding now but I don't know where is.

    Thank you

    Are you using GnomeEditor?

Sounds like some tabs went wrong in the last column of the unit prod file.

I am using gnome editor (first version) ...I have checked teh last column but everything seems ok. I have also deleted the last unitis that I have ad before the problems .... but it seems that doesn't restore the situation.

Are you using an MTW original crusader_unit_prod file with a MTW Viking invasion version?

There are some more tabs MTW-VI file compared to original MTW file.

No unfortunately are both a Viking Invasion version.

I have make a test : I have moved to a diffeent directory the prod file I am working with. I have renamed a copy of the original crusade prod as my modding prod file and I start the program. I have had the same error message ... so I am starting to think that problem is not the file I am modding but one of the two original (crusade or viking)

How are you using the modded unit file? as a seperate unit file used in a custom era or just overwritten the old unit files?

Edit: if you dont have the standard files anymore I can send them to you. You can check the dates to see if they have been changed. The crusader unit file should be 7th march.

I am using the moded for new era.

No I have all the originals and I haven't touch it . I have simply make a copy of the original MTV crusade file and renamed as the one I am working with. I wanted to test if the problem was my prod file or one of the originals. Now it seems that my problem is not in my file because the problem is still there after I have removed it.

Ah ok. Hm to do then (thinking..) I think I have seen the error before but just cant remember the problem grrr.

You can send the modded files to me if you want. I can take a look at it and might spot the problem. my email is cbr@os.dk

Ok now something really strange .

I haven't done anything and the kind of error is changed.
Now it is doesn't recognize longboat2 as kind of unit.

After this I have made a couple of other tests:

I have moved another unit in this row and it doesn't recognize this unit
