    I am not talking about the techtree.

    Is there any guide which tells the exact effects of each building?Like, what is the effect of college of surgeons and university?Does town watch increase loyalty?

    You can get some of the info you're looking for from Clan Berserk site. Like 'Town Watch +10 happiness' or 'Keep - Mercenary Magnetism -15', but nothing specific on university or surgeons. Do a search on those words here and you should find a few older threads that cover their effects.

    Hope so, I love to read them 2.
    Im on My 1st campaign and already made a few mistakes due to lack of knowledge. I tend to build 80%farms as sooner as i could, and then tried to make diff unit types on diff provinces but mess it big, lol.
    Only yesterday I discover that provinces with iron, allow to build better weaponsmiths, therefore the ideal places to build armies.
    And btw, I tried to see on the manual about the collors of the shield icons that shows the type of armmor a unit have, but till now only figured that gold seems to be the best 1, meaning +4.
    There is a brown, a dark and a silver 1, but I'm not sure figure if brown gives +1, dark (iron?) gives +2 and Silver gives +3.
    Is this the correct order?

    The dark grey shield = +1 armour

    Bronze = +2
    Silver = +3
    Gold = +4

    I think that the college of surgeons just decreases the chance of epidemics etc. occurring in any of your provinces, although I don't know how much by.

    The military academy increases the discipline of all units produced in that province by +1, but it's only really important for the Turks as it allows Janissary units to be trained. I haven't seen the default discipline stats listed anywhere before and as long as you can deal with a bit of impetuousness from your knights I don't think it really has an impact on the game.

    Here are some of the buildings that are known to increase happiness.

    Town watch (any level) +10
    College of Surgeons +40
    Church/Mosque +20
    Monastery +10
    Reliquary +30
    Cathedral/Grand Mosque +40
    Watch Towers +20
    Border Forts +30 (replaces watch tower bonus)
    Brothel (any level) +10

    College of Surgeons may also add health to generals/heirs produced there, while, as Fruitfly noted, the Military Academy instills discipline in troops trained in it's province. I have a feeling it may affect V&Vs as well, but haven't tested this.

    There is a guide I've seen, either here or on TW.com, that listed all of the buildings available in the game, with their corresponding bonuses, but I can't seem to find it right now, I'll post a link if I do. It may be amongst the downloads, which, if you haven't yet, are definitely worth checking out.

    The university is different from the military academy. I know the academy instills discipline +1, do we know what the university does? Does it also instill discipline? It would make sense that maybe leaders from that province would have a bonus to acumen perhaps?

    Eh, my mistake, that should read Military Academy, not university. Thank you for catching that so quickly.

    I think that the University does indeed bestow a bonus, but am not sure on the exact numbers.

    Much of what buildings do can be seen from looking at the game files in gnome, particularly crusaders_build_prod.

    The files seem to claim the university has no function, save for being a prerequistite for other buildings, and as a GA goal.

    The various churches/mosques claim to have a morale upgrading effect. +1/+2/+3 for increasing levels, and they also apparently spread your faith.

    An inn attracts mercs, but larger castles drive them away, as will a constable's palace or a marshal's palace.

    Interesting about the mercs there. I'm always amazed by how much attention to detail CA spent on their fabulous game.

    Do any building increase Acumen ?

    We could mod the game as follows;

    University +5
    Cathedral +4
    Reliquary +3
    Monastery +2
    Church +1

    This would indicate a Education level. If so, how would I mod the game to reflect this.

    No buildings directly affect the acumen level of generals. The closest thing you could achieve is to change the effect of the title creating buildings, so the titles give additional bonuses to acumen as well as command. But I don't believe there is any way to create new title-producing buildings, so even then you're pretty limited in what you can do.

    It depends on the armour level of the unit to start with.

    If the total armour level (including bonuses from armourers) of a unit is above 4 or 5 (I forget which exactly, but it's around that number), then your troops will tire in the desert and not recover when they stop to rest. If this number gets too high, then they'll cook just stood still.

    As a guide, a unit of chivalric knights will use up all four of their energy bars just marching across a desert map (that's happened to me before anyway).

    Generally the less armour your desert armies have, the better. I tend to leave a couple of troop producing provinces free of armourers to train troops just for desert fighting.
