whats been your most annoying battle?

My current campaign as the English, noticed the almohads only had a single unit of low loyalty Nubian spearmen guarding a province so i thought i'd bribe them, take over the province and sell all the buildings in it just to annoy the almohads and hit a bit of there infrastructure

bribed there spearmen successfully, but just as i was about to take control, the AI sent in another unit to battle and prevent it, had no agents in there anymore so had no idea what he had sent in. clicked command battle personally and discovered he has sent in a single unit of naptha throwers

cue Nubian spearmen Benny hilling around the battle map chasing around after these damned naptha throwers

so what has been your most annoying/frustrating battle ?

ALright I was the sicilians and decided to take naples and they only had a group of Byzantime infantr and I lost 5units of Urban milita

I invaded Nicaea which was being defended by only 2 Saracens (not two groups.. two units). I decided to add some drama in this so I sent 3 mounted sargeants, confident that they would topple the guys. With great confidence I ordered the charge, but the general died in the charge and two mounted bigots ran away

Battles where the enemy has nearly all Horse Archers AHHHHH I hate that You can chase them around ALL FREAKIN' DAY and lose the battle because of the time limit. I hate those mounted bastards

Nop, is the 1 where you win, just to get a cdt after back to main screen, lol.
I was strugling agst Spanish in Granada, in a effort to push them out of Iberia, took castila, valencia and Leon (made a manual battle on Valencia wich I won, on the other 2 Spain abandoned them), and had a decive battle on Granada, if I loose I'm doomed as I had to abandon all conquered provincies and in a few rounds Spain allies with England and destroy Me.
Every time I tried to make it on auto I'm defeated.
Every time I tried it on manual, I win, just to watch game cdt as soon as return to main screen and hit escape to save.
4 times I tried, 4 times I win 4 times I cdt after

my most frustrating battle was against mongolia I knew were they were going to show up and I put two full units {because it was all I could manage financily} but they were good units fully upgraded armor and weapons. It took FOREVER by the time it was all over it came down to about 1 unit of sacren infintry and two enemy units of horse archers... i had to wait till they ran out of ammo then i FINALY won. that was the most annoying one =p

My most annoying battle was against the GH. After about an hour of beating of the hoard and trying to kill their Mounted archers my game decided to crash :(
