everytime I use a grand inquisitor on one of my units it makes them an athiest, am I using the wrong or something? what is the point of these units? I know they raise zeal and belief in the province they are placed in but do they do anything else?

really? Whenever I use a grand inquisitor, I get one of two results - it either fails and they get a vice with a bonus to piety (certainly not atheist) which are specificially for failed inquisitions. Or they end up as ashes.
